The Patio Hound Sleeper Bed is a raised, sturdy and durable stretcher bed for dogs. Designed for outside use (but can be used indoors), the cover is made from UV protected textilene.

Ideal for dogs who love to swim or incontinent dogs, the cover has small holes that allow moisture and dirt to sift through to the floor below. The small holes also allow air to circulate making it a cooler option for our hot South African summers.

The Hound Sleeper Raised Patio Dog bed makes it easier for dogs who battle to get up or those with arthritis and sore joints to get on and off their bed. 

Suitable for all sizes of dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes.

1. Take the Hound Sleeper outside and prop it upright against a wall
2. Using soapy water, add a dash of Savlon or Dettol to disinfect the bed, scrub the canvas and sides down with a shower brush
3. Rinse off with clean water or hose off and leave to dry in the sun
4. This should be done at least once a week
5. If blankets are used on top of the bed then wash the blanket weekly and the bed monthly

For easier assembly, we recommend softening the textilene mat in the sun for 5-10 minutes to make stretching it easier.

All beds and mats are carefully checked to ensure proper fit during assembly. Drilling new holes is not necessary.
