Dosage: Use one tube per cat. Safe to use use on kittens from 8 weeks of age and rabbits from 10 weeks. Monthly treatments are required for optimal control and prevention of fleas and biting lice. For easy application your pet should be standing. Part the hair on the back of the neck at the base of the pet's skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze out the contents thoroughly to apply the solution directly onto the skin.

In severe flea infestations two treatments 2 - 3 weeks apart should be applied. Frequent shampooing of the animal may diminish the duration of flea protection, therefore re-application following shampooing is recommended.

How to control fleas in the house and yard: Only a small number of fleas are on animals at any one time. Most of the population will be present as eggs, larvae and pupae in the environment from which newly hatched adult fleas will continuously infest the animals. Treatment of the animals will control those fleas actually in contact with the animal. To improve the level of flea control, the animal’s environment must also be treated. Fleas and their developmental stages are widespread e.g. in dust, debris, pet’s bedding, cracks, carpets and kennels.

The following control measures in addition to Advantage are therefore recommended:

• Vacuum carpets (destroys dust).
• Clean animals’ bedding by washing and treating with a registered insecticide.

A combination of the above will aid in improving flea control.
