Its ‘Anti-Bark’ programme analyses your pup's barking patterns and adjusts the response automatically. For example, if your dog barks in quick succession, the frequency of the vibration and/or sound response from the collar will increase - all without using shocks.

Not recommended for puppies. This collar is not suitable for puppies under 6 months old, as well as for dogs that are nervous, anxious or whose barking is anxiety related. 

For young dogs, it's advisable to focus on positive reinforcement training and consult with a veterinarian or certified dog trainer to address excessive barking in a developmentally appropriate and humane manner.

Is the Pavlov Digital No Bark Collar Suitable for all dogs?

No. The collar will not be suitable for all dogs. We do not recommend using the collar if your dog is nervous or anxious, or their barking is anxiety related. We do not advise using the collar on puppies.

The anti bark collar only responds to barking – how does that work?

The collar is programmed to respond to certain frequencies, which allow it to only pick up a dogs barking and not other noises for example a door banging etc. The microphone is also set to a very narrow listening area, so it only responds to the dogs bark in a very close proximity.

What makes the Pavlov anti bark collar function differently?

One of the key differences is that our anti bark collar uses 3 different scaled frequencies. When developing the product we found that dogs were more receptive to an increasing level of frequency rather than just the same tone that most collars use. We also found this to be more effective too!

What makes the digital technology so important?

The MEM microphone that we use, is the same as you find in a modern mobile phone, which essentially means it is very efficient at listening, whilst using very little battery power. The MEM microphone also only listens to a very narrow frequency of sound, like ‘Siri’, allowing it to effectively listen for your dogs barking.

• It is key to teach each dog separately if you have more than one
• Keep training sessions short and end on a positive note
• The more you practice, the quicker you will see results: e.g. three short daily sessions are better than one long one
• During this period your dog must not be put in a situation where the problem behaviour is triggered without practicing the corrective training
• Although individual success will vary depending on your dog's sensitivity, some progress should be seen within a few training sessions
