I ordered some spoils for my two rescue fur babies on Wednesday. It was my first order from epetstore and as this company is based in Joburg and I'm in Cape Town, I wasn't expecting delivery before next week. Well, at 11am this morning, Friday, my box of goodies arrived and in the box was a handwritten note wishing me a cuddly winter season. I loved that. And even before I actually put in the order I got myself a bit confused and after an email to epetstore asking for assistance, I received a phone call from Jo-Le who couldn't have been more patient and helpful. Seriously blown away by the personal service and to add to that, fantastic products and competitive prices. I am an avid online shopper and literally don't leave the house (being someone with MS it makes my life so much easier). Mind-blowing fast delivery - I order veterinary food for one of our cats and these guys are so fast with delivery we are often caught off guard. Their packaging is perfect and there is always a hand written note. Can absolutely recommend them.

However, when I opened the package, I realized the jersey I bought for one of my doggos was too small. No worries though! There was a mix up in the delivery address for a cat tree that I ordered. Melanie arranged to have it collected from my home and re-routed to the correct address. From the date of order to the date of delivery at the correct address, this entire process took 6 days! I was kept in the loop on what was happening from the time I realised the mistake. My daughter has just received the cat tree. She is over the moon and I know that her cats will love it. What an amazing experience! I was purchasing a dog bed on behalf of my mom and I had originally used an alternative supplier (won’t mention names) but they were terrible. 14 days later and no dog bed and a claim of a refund which when asked for proof was only processed that day…. In desperation to find an alternative option for my mom, I found ePETstore and I am so glad I did. We originally ordered a large, and when it arrived my mom found it to be too small so she sent it back with the courier. I contacted ePETstore and advised them and they acknowledged what happened, were fully in the know of the order status and had the credit loaded to my account so we could order a bigger size! Ordering from ePet store is one of my favourite things to do! They put the PUR into PURFECT. With a variety of products at competitive prices, VERY fast delivery service and a personal touch with every order.. I have always been surprised with how fast the delivery time is (usually within a day or two) and if not there is always someone in touch to let you know what is going on. I purchased a cat flap and glass adaptor at a cost of R4000.00, I had to get a new glass made as to accommodate the cut insert into my glass door , which came at a high expense to do, due to some misunderstandings between the sales lady , when I purchased the above items ,the insert was to small for the cat flap and this was a huge problem, as once the glass is cut(my glass was already cut to the incorrect adaptor supplied in error ) no modification can be done , and a new glass will need to be done/cut .I made contact with Mel , and I must say Mel handle the situation with total customer care and professionalism , which in todays world is difficult to come by. she immediately dispatched her Driver with a new cat flap & adaptor to try and assist without hesitation, unfortunately this did not work out . we had to re cut a all new glass at a high cost which MEL undertook to cover the entire cost of a new glass. this kind of customer service is a WOW factor !for me .I extend my gratitude to Mel & ePETstore in the manner this was handled from start to finish, and I must say ePETstore have paid for the new glass and this job is now 'work in progress " I will have to just wait 3 weeks for the replacement glass to be installed , I will highly with out hesitation recommend Mel/ ePETstore to any one any time ! Officially my petstore of choice and have even breed specific items on hand. The site also displays how many items are instock to give you a good idea. If you are in the JHB North area and you order in the morning, it is most likely that you will receive your order the very next day. Their live chat on the site is pretty much the most responsive in the history of my experiences with live chats. Mel from their store is an amazing human. I needed Royal Canin Rottweiler kibble which is hard to buy from a store and would need to be ordered in most cases, and she assisted me in getting it on the same day via their pick up option. Within 30 min of my order, it was packaged and ready to be collected from their showroom. For those who prefer to pay directly, there is an option to place the order online and pay in the show room via card. Their prices are slightly cheaper than their competitors and Mel assisted me by honoring a buy 1 get 1 free voucher that hasnt been working on most sites because of their direct link to the supplier. Super happy and I will be shopping here again.

Hot take: I buy from these guys just for the cute handwritten, personalized postcards that come with every order. But in all seriousness, this business has one of the most friendly, helpful, and responsive support teams I’ve encountered. They’re easy to get ahold of and will come back to you with an answer or find someone else who can. If your issue has been resolved but you didn’t update them, sometimes they’ll even circle back to you unprompted to make sure you’ve been taken care of! The orders usually take between 2-4 days, and the items being sold on their online store pretty much cover everything I need month-to-month for my Oberyn. They have both types of food she eats, the peach-scented litter she uses (and the litter odor neutralizer I sprinkle in every other day), and all of her favorite snacks from freeze dried Orijin to the MeowMore meat sticks she’s currently obsessed with. 10/10 for these guys! Ordered a prescription diet dog food from them when I was not able to find it anywhere else. Online ordering was easy and once submitting the prescription the food was unlocked for me to order. The food was delivered timely. Food prices are comparable with those of vet shops.

I decided to try this online pet store. They are just fantastic. Their deliveries are on time - always and super customer service - Melanie is amazing. I bought jersies for my dogs and some other accessories. The jersey sizes I ordered did not fit, however the exchange/refund process is so simple, quick and easy. The arranged courier did not come as scheduled but Mel took it into her own interest to contact them for me with no issues. The courier then came and a credit was made to my account. They also have an option of refunds. Mel responds quickly and is super helpful and friendly. She also has live chats during the day in case you have any questions ...she's always there to help.
