1. To start, pull the handles out, which puts them in an ‘unlocked position’.
2. Put a tasty treat or kibble into the empty compartment. Make sure your dog sees you doing this.
3. Close the compartment, but leave the others open for your dog to explore.
4. Show your dog how the compartments unlock and lock again. If your pooch successfully gets the compartment open and eats the treat, give verbal praise.
5. Try Round 2 with two treats, and continue to add more. The more treats or food you place under the compartments, the more exciting the game gets.
